The Client Challenge and Project Breif:
Jay from Brentwod contacted during the summer of 2024 as they had just had an extension built to the back of their house with a new steel balcony area. Due to the raised balcony area they required a glass balustrade around the balcony area. They also required the steelwork to be powder coated black to match their new steel balcony. Another aspect of this project required all the glass panels to be 13.5mm toughened laminated, this is due to the up to date requirements of building regulations. Another requirement from building control was that the two side elevations of the glass balustrade had to have opaque glass panels at a minimum height of 1.8m.
