The Client Challenge and Project Breif:
Karamjit Dhillon contacted Visage back in January as he was looking to have a new glass balustrade installed to his new patio area. The design he was after was a stainless steel post and rail system glass balustrade with 10mm clear toughened glass. He also wanted a glass balustrade down his steps. You can see from the pictures that the glass panels are shaped around his steps, which he was extremely happy with due to having two small children and he was worried about them crawling under any gaps. These shaped glass panels for the steps needed to be templated first. Another tricky aspect of installing this glass balustrade was drilling through the porcelain tiles and not cracking any of them. We have to use a special diamond drill bit that opens a small hole for bolts to securely fix the glass balustrade
