The Client Challenge and Project Breif:
Jonathan got in touch with me late September 2023 as he was looking to have a new glass balcony balustrade installed on top of his new extension that he had just built.
Jonathan was looking for a stylish and modern addition that can enhance the aesthetics of a property while providing a safe and unobstructed view
Due to the way the roof had been built on the extension, the only safe and secure way to fix the glass balustrade post was to use a face fix style brackets. As with all balconies that we install, I always advise to use 13.5mm toughened laminated glass panels. Toughened laminated glass is a popular choice for such applications because it provides both strength and safety.

I also got small holes cut out of the glass so a small pin could be inserted through each panel to avoid the risk of a glass panel ever slipping out of the glass clamps.
