Justin contacted me in September 2023, as he had finished building the patio area for his client in Wickford, Esses. His client needed a secure barrier around the side of the new patio area. They were looking for a glass balustrade. Upon careful consideration and consultation, we proposed a face-fix style glass balustrade, utilizing stainless steel face-mounted brackets. This design choice was driven by the desire to maximize the patio space while providing a secure and transparent barrier. The face-fix style seamlessly integrated with the overall aesthetic of the patio, offering a modern and unobtrusive solution This was because they wanted to maximize the total space of their patio. Because the glass balustrade design was a post and handrail system, 10mm clear toughened glass was more than adequate to use
