Glass staircase renovation – Galleywood, Chelmsford

Ria from Galleywood, Chelmsford contacted me late 2022 as they had just recently moved into their new property and wanted to completely renovate their old timber staircase to a brand new glass panel staircase. The design they were looking for was the slotted glass panel design. With this process we had to completely strip out the old timber handrails, base rails and cut down the old newel posts and install a complete new timber to suit a new glass balustrade staircase. The timber material that was used was softwood which was then painted to the colour of the clients  choice. Once all painting was completed the new glass panels could then be installed to finish the staircase off.
