James Moon from Upminster, Essex got in contact back in May 2023 as he was looking for a glass balustrade to be supplied and installed for his patio area. As you can see from the pictures there is a big drop into the seating area. Because James has small children he was worried about them falling over the edge and seriously injuring themselves. After going through the options with James and his wife, they opted for the free floating glass balustrade system. As they were looking for more glass and less steelwork. As with all free floating glass balustrades I always advise to use 13.5mm toughened laminated glass which gives you more protection and strength due to not having a handrail. We also provided a glass gate where the steps are.
